Thanks Raj for the great reminder, and we want to echo this. Don't be discouraged if your background looks different from the ones in our repo, as successful applicants come from a wide range of previous backgrounds, which do not always include a lot of research experience. 1/3.
This is a great initiative and resource!! I do also want to remind prospective PhDs that there's a selection bias here, most of the statements on here are from extremely successful applicants. Use these as a reference but take em with a grain of salt (the website notes this too!).
