Also I know I say this every chance I get but buy old communication theory textbooks!!! I'm so serious!!! Esp as a neurodivergent person, when I research comm theory and like why we say or do the things we do, it demystifies a lot.

Also saying this as someone who used to have debilitating social anxiety: the more you do these things the easier it is to do them. Give yourself the grace to be rightfully anxious and nervous, but make yourself do a few scary things every day and they slowly stop being as scary.
idk i just think that in order to function in a society, you have GOT to get over yourself. small talk, answering the phone, greeting people, etc. are not herculean tasks that you aren’t able to safely navigate.

My biggest pet peeve is when restaurants don't put their menu on their website they just have the option to order pickup and delivery so you have to see the menu from a third party website.
