I'm thankful for the cats. The cats who come in terrified, sick, injured, and traumatized and are still so desperate to love and be loved. The cats who teach me how to focus on present, take it day by day. The cats who break my heart. I'm so thankful for the cats.

I'm thankful that I was somehow, for some reason, chosen by the cat gods to do this. I know my purpose on Earth is to save these cats. I know how lucky I am that I'm able to fulfill my purpose every day. Litter boxes and all 😌

So many cats who were close to giving up have come through our doors. Cats who have only known suffering and coldness - we're so grateful to be able to show them love and warmth. To be their stepping stone to the lives they all deserve.
