It is still detectable, and it’s far better than last year’s and the year before’s. Is the uncanny valley fully traversable? Most of us assume it is, but it hasn’t happened yet. Is our hardware harder to crack than we thought?
People chuckle at AI recreations like this, but to me it's actually quite horrifying. There's still some unnaturalness that cues you it's AI, but we are so close to not being able to trust anything we see it's legitimately frightening. We aren't prepared for it
