The statement "anyone can write" has some truth to it. So does "anyone can sing". Yet we don't want to hear everyone sing.

I wish I could have this playing on every screen everywhere. America’s age of anti-intellectualism cannot last much longer. We will not survive it.

Wow--an extension on the discounts! It's not too late to save a little bit! And if you aren't a member, it's still cheaper to become a member and then register than register as a non-member (plus get STC benefits for the rest of the year). Go sign up! There are still some spots!

Interesting Poll from LinkedIn 👇. Managers & ppl who make a buck by selling fake Agile™️ think the state of "Agile" is just peachy. The people who are actually doing the work think that it's degraded into a putrid mass of steaming garbage. (I may have exaggerated a bit 😁.)

💡 What’s the biggest thing healthcare can learn from the tech industry? 🔀 For me, it’s the approach to problem solving. 🔷🔷 Shifting from a solution-focussed to a problem focussed mindset! 🇩🇰 I still have a lot to learn but I’m super excited to share my experiences!

Don't "as-a-mother" me. Please pause for a moment and think about what you're saying. Do you really mean to say that my life experience doesn't count? Am I not worthy because I made different choices in life - or didn't have your luck?

Quite a surprise that UX writing is the number one NN/g study guide of all times. https://t.co/vyWXvkT6Lr Great to see that topics like IA and psychology make it to the top three too! A sign of what is trending overall?

So I’m going to ask you give one simple gift this year: Tell at least one person you know that you appreciate them, share what you value in them, be there for them. Life’s too short. My friends who have passed this year & prior would’ve ask the same. 2/2

Bad UX of error scenarios has long been my biggest pet peeve. Exciting to see Error-message Guidelines on a 4th place of most read NN/g articles! https://t.co/wcT0MRDNds

People are being told by healthcare providers: ‘I don’t believe in long Covid or ME/CFS- Just so you know’ It is not a belief system like a religion There is scientific&medical evidence for both It is gaslighting to tell someone their experience, backed by science, is invalid

In order to support someone with a severe form of energy-limiting illness, the first step is to believe in the illness as something physiological. The second step is not to make them feel responsible for their misery. The third step is to raise awareness on their behalf.

My villain origin story is walking into the hospital that handles my long COVID program and seeing no masks worn by the medical professionals treating the people disabled by COVID.
