Can you sit w\ a coach & throw a scenario at them & they can tell u what they would draw up from the far baseline, your baseline, sideline & whether u need a 2 or a three? Can they do it in 30 seconds or less? Most AAU coaches can’t do that. Coaching is more than subbing & yelling

My favorite advice is to talk to yourself instead of listen to yourself. Don’t listen to the negative thoughts telling you that you can’t accomplish your goal. Instead, tell yourself what to do, what you will accomplish and what you will become. Fuel your journey with

It’s not a line. It’s a measurement of commitment, sacrifice, respect, integrity, effort and fortitude It’s a symbol to remind us that greatness lies in the smallest of details Great teams have players who hold each other accountable to meeting their line of standards everyday

In the black community, New Year’s Day used to be widely known as 'Hiring Day' or 'Heartbreak Day', because enslaved people spent New Year’s Eve waiting, wondering if their owners were going to rent them out to someone else, thus potentially splitting up their families...

The praise needs to be as loud as the criticism Penny Hardaway now has Memphis 8-2 and just knocked off previously undefeated Clemson The national media is AWFULLY quiet about his success and were AWFULLY loud when they were struggling

A dying father called his son to his bedside and presented him with an old pocket watch. The father said: “Your grandfather gave this watch to me. It’s more than 200 years old. But, before I give it to you, I want you to go to the watch shop and tell the owner you want to sell
