We lost in 2016 because we convinced ourselves Trump was too stupid and evil to win. The Hillary supporters gave up after Bernie conceded and we were the ones left campaigning in Ohio/Wisconsin/Michigan.
I'm old enough to remember 2016, when a lot of millennials got suckered into believing that Hillary Clinton was just as bad as Donald Trump and didn't vote. That's why millennials are chewing Chappell Roan's ass up. They remember how we ended up with Trump the first time.
