Imagine the difference an extra $8,000 could make for a student's education. Every child should have their needs met. Every public school should be fully funded. #auspol

Rather than say other countries have dropped, how about saying Australian teachers have worked tirelessly under a teacher shortage and inequity of funding.

Critical staffing shortages & unfair education funding making almost 100% of public schools underfunded needs to be the focus of any response to NAPLAN results! Students need teachers in every class, every day. Equitable funding too! ⁦@ChrisMinnsMP

“The next NSW government can and should act. It should end its own underfunding of public schools and overfunding of private.”
smh.com.au
Public schools are hemorrhaging enrolments to a private system which receives billions from the taxpayer. It’s not fair and it has to stop.

The Perrottet Government’s own data shows two-thirds of schools had vacancies in Nov. Country schools worst off. Shameful for @smitchellmlc and the Nats to say there is no problem.
