Great team win for the Lourdes boys tonight 83-64. Jay hung tough in the first half but Jason Schofield (21pts), Andrew Rappleyea (17pts) and Willy Hart (16pts) too much for Jay. Liam Ryan (31pts) did all he could to keep them in the game.

Great performance by the Lourdes boys to capture the chip and Congrats to coach Feicht and the Arlington Admirals for a hard fought battle. Despite the outcome, both teams got better tonight! Enjoy the new year!
Zach Hart scored 17 points and Patrick Faughnan had 16 to lead the Lourdes boys basketball team in a 61-51 win over Arlington in the final of the Duane Davis tournament, ending the Admirals’ two-year reign. Tommy Simpson hit four 3s. Arlington’s Jacob Jerome scored 24 points.

So true. I have been coaching Pat since he's 10 years old. Also had the opportunity to coach Mikey when he was 12 when he played for Edge. They were on the same team. They were special then and I'm not surprised as to how they developed. Both class acts!
Great week of hoops in Dutchess County! As I reflect, I think of this picture. Two of the top athletes in the county battling and giving everything they have to a game! Patrick Faughnan and Mikey Rescigno are the epitome of what coaches are looking for in their players.

Great win tonight against a relatively young Wallkill squad. Former Edge player Jack Cook's 11 points and and teammate Alex Marshall's 12 points for Wallkill weren't enough. Pat Faughnan's 18 point 1st quarter and Tommy Simpson's 12 point second quarter proved to be too much.
