Perfecto caso clínico que reitera que no necesariamente síntomas psiquiátricos se relacionan a lo que está pasando en el cerebro.
Hoy les cuento de un caso inmunológico muy interesante. ¿Listos?. Niña de 12 años, ingresada en psiquiatría con diagnóstico de “psicosis aguda” que no respondía a antipsicóticos y empeoraba cada día. Pero lo que tenía no estaba en su mente. ¿En dónde estaba? 🧵.

Now in Nature the largest gnomic study in the histoy of bipolar disorder: 150,000 cases and >2,8M controls. We identified: i) 298 genetic loci; ii) An ancestry specific association in EastAsians; ii) Genetic differences between BD-I and BD-II subtypes.
