Today the whole world watches, in shock and disgust, the escalation and acceleration of decades-old abusive practices and crimes inflicted on the Palestinians -by the state of Israel, its army and ideological settlers. With absolute impunity granted by "the west". This must end.
The murderer remains free, continuing to torment the village’s residents — all under the protection of the judicial system and the occupation forces. This is the face of occupation, apartheid, and ethnic cleansing — the face of human ugliness.

I’ve reported 18 wars over 35 years. I’ve been shot at, kidnapped, threatened, nearly raped. I’ve lost friends from Sarajevo to Syria. I thought I’d seen the worst of humanity. I was wrong. Nothing compares to Gaza — or the complicity letting it happen. #GazaGenocide #WarCrimes

I 🧡 sensible lawyers as much as I🧡principled politicians. Right now, we need both fully engaged, 200% committed, to stopping the genocide. All eyes must remain on Gaza, where children are dying of starvation in their mothers’ arms, while their fathers and siblings are bombed
By sanctioning a UN Special Rapporteur, the US may be in violation of the 1946 Convention on Privileges and Immunities of the UN. As an expert on UN mission, SR Albanese is entitled to immunity from legal process of any kind. Which UN member will take the US to the ICJ over this?

Our investigation suggests that Traxys, an EU-based trader, buys conflict minerals originating in the DRC 🇪🇺 We’re calling on the EU to rescind its raw materials partnership with Rwanda and freeze development assistance until it stops all support to M23 https://t.co/BuHS9HWfWW

Six years ago, I walked into the lair of the tech gods - TED - to warn them democracy may not survive technology. In fact, I was the one who almost didn’t survive. This year I returned & called them data rapists. Complicit in a coup. Collaborators.

This is an abysmal, brutally reverse-engineered instance of mega-corp fossil-fuel lawfare waged against Greenpeace. It’s a strategic takedown of a deep-rooted, rare-growing force for good on Earth. A(nother) desperate day for justice and the planet.
Greenpeace hit with $667 million judgement. "...massive financial blow to the group that environmentalists say could chill future climate advocacy"
