A friend of mine has a birthday today. I used to deliver newspapers to his home. His dad ran a Laundry. An old fashioned “Chinese Laundry.” Their family lived in the back. On a Friday when I collected for the papers his dad would take my singles. I’d see him at #OTB on Saturday.

When we sin and wander from the Lord he rejoices when we return; forgives our sins; and allows us to begin anew. Consider celebrating his mercy today in the Sacrament of Penance so that you may be reconciled with God. What a wonderful way to enter Holy Week!

@DRFHersh Instead of trying to be clever maybe you should think about how many families are being affected by the loss of their income. It’s disappointing that you aren’t able to see or more importantly be sensitive to that fact.

What hurts me is that the children are without their mom and the emergency room is missing a nurse. Politicians did this. Why do our politicians choose to divide us? We keep “walking like the heroes we thought we had to be” and our politicians fake working for #AllOfUs.
