I have been aware that I need to take a break from posting about Woe et al., but this is the most open I’ve seen him & Mahler be about this. There are *still* Lutherans who entertain sympathy for their views. God grant that this, finally, snap them out of it.

If you’d told me a year ago that in 2023 I’d be denounced as a “centrist Lutheran” in the “smug middle” because I’m not on board with National Socialist ideology, I’d have dismissed it as sheer insanity. What a weird time to be alive.

Our avowed Lutheran Fascists say we must adopt Fascism because that’s the only way to “win.” But they’re not winning. They’re not organizing an effective party or sending stormtroopers into battle with antifa. They’re glorifying Hitler on Twitter.

Happy Reformation Sunday! While “A Mighty Fortress Is Our God” is most readily associated with the Reformation, Luther’s version of Ps. 12, “O Lord, Look Down from Heaven, Behold,” was the original Reformation anthem. Here’s a public domain translation.

Even those who actively blaspheme our Lord are our neighbors. Insofar as they are our enemies, Jesus commands us to love them. 18/

@piratechristian Amen. Anyone who says otherwise profanes the name of God among us.

I’ve been seeing some Mahlerites distancing themselves from their leader’s commitment to the extermination of the Jewish race (condemning me as a liar). If some of them are induced to disavow that part of his platform, that will be a precious victory indeed.

It boggles my mind how hyper-intelligent men like Mahler & Woe are led by their hatred for the Jewish ἔθνος to despise the Hebrew *language* (the divinely appointed vessel for most of the OT Scriptures) on the basis of the shift from Hebrew to Aramaic *characters*.

Woe, could you please rephrase this as a superlative so I can put it up as my new banner? Something like, “You’ll still be the biggest fool in Synod”?

If Woe or his followers cry “slander” at me, Woe is welcome to clarify how I’ve misunderstood him. But “put the best construction on” doesn’t mean “interpret in the most foolishly naive way.” I believe Woe meant his post. I’ll genuinely rejoice if it turns out he did not. 7/7

@AhhhhhSchmidt My ancestor Noah would rejoice to see that his descendants through Ham and Japheth still delight in one another.

The reaction of the avowed Lutheran Fascists has shown me how deep and how pernicious this evil is. Who knows how much deeper and more pernicious still than I realize even now. 10/

Before I knew who they were, I began to notice patterns. Accounts with the🗿emoji were liking some of my stuff, sharing content from men I respect, and pushing out sound bytes that really appealed to me and had the tone I was seeking. 6/

The experience of Christian Jews in the Warsaw ghetto: “The strangest & saddest manifestation of faith was the community of about 5,000 non-Aryan Christians. … In December, 1941, Mary Berg observed them taking delivery of Christmas trees smuggled into the ghetto. … 1/

Just to demonstrate that historic Lutheranism *does* teach that woman is made in the image of God, consider this passage from Francis Pieper, *Christian Dogmatics*, vol. I, pp. 523–524: 4/

Critical to understanding the Mahlerites is the recognition that, for them, Judaism = Communism. Whenever you see them talking about Communism, Marxism, Atheism, Satanism, etc., for them, it’s all the same as “the Jews.” This is, of course, a potentially deadly conflation.

@MaddyRose_Craig Neither can I. Never in the history of Christendom has this been the approach. They’re not returning to Christendom, they’re returning to the Third Reich, where the Nazis lost the churches because they treated the Jews differently *even after conversion to Christ*.

@NathLachmann If he notices, Woe will probably respond from behind his locked account by calling me a slanderous demon & boasting in his own “good fruit” of thousands of unverifiable conversions, while denying that my ministry bears any good fruit at all.
