Given all the slander thrown at Christian Nationalism lately, I think it's well worth a ๐งตto clarify the matter (as I see it.). 1) Christian Nationalism is a political ideology informed by the Christian faith, not a religion informed by political ideology.

Good new, guys. He's not dogmatically committed to liberalism, he's just horrified by refusals to follow dogmas of liberalism.
Conservative evangelicals who oppose "Christian nationalism" rarely do so because we're dogmatically committed to liberalism. Mostly, we're horrified by the open racism, misogyny, and anti-Semitism that many Christian nationalists have allowed to fester within their ranks. 1/.

It's quite silly to think "need for survival" is the only kind of need. There are also needs for fulling our God-given design, for carrying out our vocations, and for living wholesome lives. For most people, sex is a real need in all those senses.

Food, water, and shelter aren't the only human needs.

Denying a need doesn't really assist with self-control (try losing weight by denying the need to eat and see how that goes.) Need & self-control coexist with food, shelter & more. They can coexist with sex too. Denying a need is more often an attempt to abandon a responsibility.
Men donโt need sex. Our culture is so hypersexualized that the idea of a celibate priest leaves people in disbeliefโas if itโs impossible. Thatโs heartbreaking. Have we really forgotten that self-control and virtue are within reach?. Look at Jesus Christ. The most perfect man

Liberal wolves in sheep's clothing think hierarchy undermines humanity so they use humanity to abolish hierarchy. A Christianity rooted in God's Word will recognize patriarchy as the very hierarchy in which God has created us and without which our humanity is diminished.
A Christianity rooted in patriarchy will always define women first and foremost by their relationship to men. A Christianity rooted in the gospel of Jesus will always see women first and foremost as fellow human beings created in God's image. May we understand the difference.
