Today's #COP26 agreement has failed to scrap the military exemption from carbon targets. Armed forces are not even required to count their carbon emissions and they are not included in countries' emission reduction targets. This makes the targets nonsensical. #CountMilitaryCarbon

Cleaning our act will have a cost. We need to accept it and find the best way to cover it. But we can’t avoid doing it.
It’s absolutely ludicrous that people would rather “save coal miners’ jobs” at the expense of having a livable planet than just… take care of the coal miners while not making them work excruciating, unsafe jobs anymore Just pay them NOT to mine coal I’m sure they won’t mind
