Bit silly but I still watch the Apple event livestream for new iPhones, every year since the first one in 2007. It doesn't make sense but it's ok. Livestream today at 10am (in 1.5 hours). This year, crossing my fingers again for an iPhone mini that I know won't come. rip.

RIP to Bill Atkinson, one of the greatest programmers who ever lived. At Apple he created MacPaint, QuickDraw, HyperCard and was a critical part of making the Macintosh magic. He co-founded General Magic - go watch that documentary.

@rich_lem #GDCFeet IMPORTANT Things to bring: good shoes, water bottle, sun block (you can burn even when it's overcast!), $6 for the train ride.

#GDCFeet Other things to bring: granola bars or fruits, layered clothing, gloves, hats. Rain is not in the forecasts but it might get windy and a bit cold by the sea.

#GDCFeet there are no shops along the way, so bring your own water, and get caffeinated beforehand if that's your thing.

#GDCFeet Along the way we'll stop off at the Cliff House, Sutro Baths, and we might also find out if the Lands End Labyrinth still exists.

#GDCFeet The walk is 6 miles, and it usually takes us about 5 hours to do it, so not strenuous! Be advised the paths are uneven and slippery, but not the worst part (Lands End Labyrinth) which is optional.
