One nice thing about making a programming language is that people can then use that language to make stuff. This game "the travelers" is coming out very soon! Something good to play during your Christmas break... https://t.co/rkepg0H3xk

If I had the time, I would start an account called Dunning-Krugrammers that just retweets all these completely clueless things we've been seeing lately. Would this be a positive contribution to the world? No. But would it help solve the problem at least a little bit? Also no.

How to automate Programming: 1. Over the decades slowly shift the definition of the word "Programming". Preferably towards something mediocre and very easy to automate. 2. Automate the mediocre and very easy to automate thing. 3. Done.

If you're on Windows, stop using Microsoft's File Explorer. It's terrible and gets worse every few months. Switch to File Pilot, it feels tremendously better, and it's free for now at least! https://t.co/YkDYSDl9BJ

This is absolutely not at all, in any way, the correct solution to the problem. https://t.co/3ecIvbgIpE

Of course this negates the point of the OP; C went through a lot of evolution between K&R, ANSI and C99, and increased a great deal in usability over that time. (Thus the idea that it was settled in 1972 is extremely vacuous.)
