After a couple of months of trying, I took advantage of last night’s new moon, and with Saturn in opposition, I was finally able to capture a decent shot from my East London rooftop 🪐

Really interesting & important data here! HCQ does not prevent progression from an at risk state to full classification criteria #SLE ⚡️ I suspect we need to better define molecularly who will progress and my personal feeling is adaptive immunity may be the required target 🎯
Results of phase 2 SMILE RCT of hydroxychloroquine in patients at risk of SLE (incomplete lupus) showed that HCQ treatment did not affect progression to classification for SLE compared with placebo Arthritis & Rheumatology https://t.co/pbG1eJ2xbY Kaplan-Meier curves for time to

Absolutely incredible Gorillaz show at @CopperBoxArena last night Can’t quite believe that the gig was held at my local gym! Side note. My first ever cassette tape was Blur - The Great Escape (aged 11 at the time) and I’ll never tire of getting to see Damon Albarn perform live

From speaking with people who have taken the exam this sounds like an absolute farce! The RCP really need to up their game. If asking for disproportionately high exams fees the very least that should guarantee is that the exam runs correctly! @RCPhysicians @RheumatologyUK
Unacceptable exam conditions for Rheumatology residents sitting the SCE today. @surpassplatform was abysmal. Problems ranged from repeated interruptions from the 'remote proctors', 1.5hrs to access the exam & a candidate being unable to log in at all. @TheBMA bsr @RCPhysicians
