I got stuck in Heathrow's international terminal for 9 hours once (delayed flight). Been stuck plenty of other places for that long, Heathrow was the worst airport waiting experience I've had in my life.

Most airports are designing new seating/waiting areas to specifically prevent restful waiting through purposefully uncomfortable seating, no power outlets that don't require sitting on the floor, etc. When you're stuck in one of those airports, a lounge is a lifesaver.
The idea that there is an airport experience superior to “Eating a Big Mac alone with headphones in and looking at your phone” is just baffling to me. What are you people paying for?.

Contrast that with where I grew up, controlled burning was/is common because it's all flat land, and the incidents of uncontrolled wildfire frequency are low, and typically nothing that the local FD can't handle easily.

It's on the side of/in the mountains. You can't really clear that in any kind of effective speed or manner. You can clear and maintain around structures to some extent, but if winds are not favorable, they can still be caught up.

On April 30th, Josh Smith of Montana Knife Company said you won't have to worry about tariffs if you buy American. Last week, he realized his costs are going up bc he imports equipment and steel. And so do his suppliers. IMO many people aren't aware of how much they import.

Mentioned tinkering with SMS stuff and had a fellow dev wish they could find a simpler SMS solution for a problem and they described exactly what I am already building as what they wanted. I guess that's market demand. (and I also found my first beta tester).

I'm pretty sure what I'm building won't "revolutionize" texting. I am very sure it will make using texting as a communication channel for smaller businesses and other groups much more accessible and inexpensive.

Programmatic SMS has gotten complicated since TCR came on the scene, so I don't blame folks for abandoning it as a communication medium for their biz/groups. The problem is that it's kind of the dream method to reach their circle. No apps to install, no CRM to buy. .
