No, @Rivian, don’t abandon Apple CarPlay! So many manufacturers “think” they can do better or just as good and it’s always shit. It has poor support and doesn’t get updates and the manufacturers don’t invest in it. CarPlay isn’t as integrated, but it’s at least consistently good

Netflix is famous for the Keeper Test, where they let people go if they wouldn’t fight to keep them if they were leaving. I propose the Reverse Keeper Test, where if knowing what you know about how the company operates, you wouldn’t fight to get a job there, you should leave

Before we raised our Series B at my previous co, my cofounder asked me point blank "dude are you sure we want to do this?" meaning, do we want to take on more capital, move the goal posts substantially and commit to 5+ more years? 'Fuck no' was the answer we came to.

I’m not sure I would recommend this one. It’s not obvious what is happening here or that the order of execution is right to left here. In this case I would favor being explicit over being succinct. No surprises
