daniel lurie just oversaw transit cuts that will take three bus lines off of market street, and now he’s going to put waymos in their place. bro has been in office three months and is already a disaster.

dean made 100s of bus stops accessible, forced the mayor's hand to make muni free for youth, and was the first supe to support the muni funding measure i worked on. i'm grateful for him. he stood his ground on issues he ran on, and massive $ was spent against him because of that.

in 2020 i emailed supervisor @DeanPreston (we had never met) about bus lines in our district that had been suspended. right away he got on a call with me, and became the strongest fighter on the board for restoring bus lines. he inspired me to get involved in local politics.
