San Francisco's deputy police chief said this week that officers are "peacekeepers" in confrontations between ICE & protesters. Police, he said, won't "sit by" if either ICE agents or protesters are hurt. But that's exactly what happened this week.

One tenant was killed in one-alarm fire at a single-family home in the Richmond on Friday afternoon. At least one other tenant was evacuated from the building. It was unclear how many tenants live in the building. by @junyao98 .

When is a street not a street? . San Francisco has 130 miles of "unaccepted streets" that aren't maintained by the city. One neighborhood has more than any other.
