I survived the halftime recognition. Very humbled & honored to be 1 of the 50 Title IX Honor Roll honorees. My years of ensuring that Black women in sport are duly recognized in print wasn't for this honor. I'm blessed that they trusted me with their stories for over 4 decades

I lost 1 of my best friends today. Unlike so many self promoters on how much they help youth, Clyde Turner touched 1000s of Twin Cities youth & families without boosting about it. He just did. My friend earned his rest now. He will deeply missed by all of us who really knew him

Right here in Mpls, the land where police kill Blacks on traffic stops, I once was stopped because I didn't turn right on red despite not able to see if traffic was clear, which is what I told the officer. He let me go but thank God he didn't fear me and shoot me.
