We did it! The first approved medication for bronchiectasis Brensocatib approved by the FDA in the United States. A great day for patients and the scientific community that made this happen. Thank you Insmed, all investigators and participants https://t.co/T5XthQtIRI

Today is #WorldAsthmaDay! Summer isnโ€™t always an easy season when you have a lung condition. Things like hay fever and hot weather can make breathing more difficult and stop you doing the things you love. This summer we want to inspire you with ways to achieve your goals โ˜€๏ธ

This is excellent news and long overdue. Iโ€™m sure it will tempt many who have moved to secondary/tertiary care roles and who are not necessarily valued financially for undertaking this level of practice to come back to primary/community care.

Todayโ€™s the day where we finally get to present the 1st National joint NICE/BTS/SIGN asthma guidelines that myself and the other fabulous committee members have been working on for the last 3 years. A little bit excited and a little bit nervous. Letโ€™s see how theyโ€™re received.

Is remission in COPD possible? When comparing criteria as in other conditions then the opinion is that it can be but we are not there yet @ERScongress
