Very sad news. Ann was my British Universities coach in the 1990s! The doubting male cricketers soon changed their tune.. Ann was supportive, friendly but with high standards and hugely knowledgeable on the game. Thank you, Ann, for your input in my cricket career! ๐๐ป
It is with great sadness to report Ann Woods has passed away. Ann was a trailblazer for starting and growing Womenโs cricket in Leicestershire and Rutland during the 90โs/00โs and delivered many coach development courses. Our thoughts and best wishes go out to Annโs family.
