If anyone batter loses their grip on a bat shouldn't there be some sort of penalty? Runs shouldn't count. If a bowler now breaks stumps in their delivery stride it is a no ball, having been a dead ball a few years ago. Fielders cant throw a hat to stop the ball. Just a thought. .

Off to @PinnerCC today. The last time I went there I was a scorer in 1982 and the skipper left me behind from @NorthLondoncc. The chairman had to pay for a cab. I've heard of scorebooks being left but never the scorer! Needless to say, the skipper got a bollocking.

Only yesterday in my post match interview I spoke with Adam Hollioake regarding Muyeye whose brother had been in a car crash and he said it had triggered him from his own personal experience. Now Jota. Family and loved ones are far more important than any sport. Cherish them.
