Piece in the FT about Bath LN’s. Yet again, the problem is that people who oppose them are stupid, apparently.
Reckoned rows about low-traffic neighbourhoods were a simple matter of heartless councils against angry residents? You might think again after reading my election-time dispatch from Bath:

Bristol Greens. Love it/ hate it? Not good if you are disabled, and seems aimed mostly at cyclists (shock) and wealthier people who can afford to live in the City. Zero clue on disability, elderly ignored, and public transport promises that just can’t be delivered at local level.

Wonder if Manda and the rest of the BANES Councillors will spot this.
LTNs Low Traffic Neighbourhoods . After 6 months Corstorphine LTN has increased traffic up to 70% on some roads and fewer people are walking and cycling. And rather than reduce traffic overall, it has displaced traffic to surrounding streets.
