Spent most of yesterday in H&S training at a big industrial plant. It really was excellent. They want to look after employees, no question. Wasn’t always that way in south wales. Most days are dark for king coal, 14 Oct one of the worst #senghenydd #coal

WATCH: Trump asked, “Where is the UK?” Starmer raised his hand. Trump called him to the stage, making him think he was going to speak. Starmer approached the podium. “It’s nice that you’re here,” Trump said, then sent him back, offending Starmer.

Superb examples of Anglo Saxon window designs on stair turret. There are many unanswered question about this church in terms of confusing restorations over the centuries, but should find a good resource to read more. All Saints, Hough on the Hill

Minimum wage in 2005 was £5.05 and a Freddo was 10p. Meaning that one hour of work got you 50 Freddos. Fast forward to 2025, minimum wage is £12.21 and a Freddo is 35p. Now one hour of work will only get you 34 of them. That's a 142% rise in pay but a 250% rise in frog shaped

The UK Government has announced a half a billion pounds for Wales to "create jobs and grow productivity". They say this money replaces the cash that used to come from the EU. The Welsh Gov will decide how the money is spent and it will be distributed over the next 3 years.
