Well, this is quite out of control Not-Invented-Here syndrome. Can we all please have less of these cr-apps and for the sake of user's real security, players in this field would cooperate instead of requiring your version of the app to be used.

FUN FACT: I just did another round of "what's making my Zoom calls stutter every 60s" and this time the culprit was... APPLE #!*$ING MAPS. That's right, Macs now come *preloaded* with software to ruin wifi latency :( You can fix by revoking Maps' location access in Preferences:

the days of usenet, irc, the web...even email (w PGP)...were amazing. centralizing discovery and identity into corporations really damaged the internet. I realize I'm partially to blame, and regret it.

1) Labor cost difference between 🇨🇳&🇺🇸 leading to: * engineers in 🇨🇳 don't write unit tests(!) they rely on QA to manually test each code commit * 🇨🇳product teams r more hands on + rely on manpower (ops teams) to drive growth, opposed to passive + data-driven Western tech

How can one implement least privilege when a fundamental building block - wildcard support in scope is missing. We are in 2022 not in stone age. How such design even make sense ???

Dear #Azure Devops , what is your behind least priviledge access for ADO SP when Azure itself not capable to support wildcards in `az role assignment create --assignee $SP --role $MINROLE --scope 'rg-lab-*'` <-no wildcard How it even suppose to work? This BS doesn't make sense.

It is really difficult for the average person to fully conceive of how useless NFTs are. We're primed for reason. If people are making so much noise about this technology-- if it IS technology, at all-- then surely it does SOMETHING... right?

I forced a bot to watch over 1,000 hours of startup pitch meetings and then asked it to re-create a startup pitch meeting of its own. Here is the first page.

I often think about the “Read what you love until you love to read” comment from @naval , and this is a good generalization. My experience has been that it is easier to educate a Do-er than to motivate the educated; you have to believe you can Do before you embark on an effort.

From trusted source: Person on FB recovery effort said the outage was from a routine BGP update gone wrong. But the update blocked remote users from reverting changes, and people with physical access didn't have network/logical access. So blocked at both ends from reversing it.

How come, #microsoft that after 20 years of your top minds working on your identity system it's a bloody mess with #skype and it randomly created new live\skype accounts cause "why f..k not...". LiveId is dissapointing disgrace and that it added everywhere create users UX hell
