Four crew members enjoying a break near Glenfinnan on the Mallaig Railway on the 13th August 1950. The locomotive is a class K2 2-6-0, 'No. 61786' which was built by the 'London and North Eastern Railway' for use on the West Highland Line. A steam crane also at work.

@on_lothianbuses Three 31 buses together on princes street heading for Bonnyrigg. Clearly a good day so far. The blame lies with Edinburgh council. Too many road works and too many cars. Infrastructure of the city has had it

@Newbattleatwar @edinhelp Now also on the A7 to Eskbank. Probably to accommodate another bunch of new housing that is not needed and will stretch the current infrastructure

@edinhelp Two sets of temporary traffic lights within 200 yards of each other on Gilmerton Road between Aldi and Morrisons. That’s ridiculous Roadworks capital of the UK

Everywhere you go along the Moray Firth coastline you're reminded of the RAF presence in the area, particularly Coastal Command and the Strike Wing at Banff.
