for inspiring me to go hard on the front squats. I normally use them as lightweight finishers but today I bumped them to 185 for sets of 5. On the road to 225 baby. 💯

Got myself a new training partner. Her name is Raven. She’s a one year old German Shepherd dog. We got her from the pound. She’s a bundle of joy and love. We are about to step out on our first 4 mile run together. So excited to have her by my side on a run. Pics to follow. ❤️💯
Working up to a 5x5 here. I like the 5-8 rep range with the double 32kgs. I still follow old Mike Mahler training vids going hard for a few reps. I wish he would produce some more KB content sometime. How’s your Saturday training looking?
Putting in some work with the cables. My body is beat down from a hard day of trail riding yesterday. I need to get stronger so I can man handle my bike👊
I’m still fighting the tail end of this vicious flu. I’m not up to my normal deadlift routine yet so I stayed home and did some deficit stuff with the kettlebells. Feels good to move🙏

Happy Saturday ?! Already! Warming up with some kettlebell stuff. Remember to keep your head/eyes up to prevent rounding. Caught myself looking down to make sure I didn’t smash the chihuahua🤷♂️💯

He was abused in his last home so he’s not too sure about the bells swinging around but we will get him up to speed.🙏💯
First set of KB presses in over 20 days. Wasn’t going to post but decided I needed to as reminder that I need to get better and that I’m going to have to push to get back to where I was 20 days ago.🙏👊
Doing some air squats to the ball to get my hips open and the blood flowing. I’m pretty beat up from yesterday’s session. This is about as warmed up as I get. 4-5 sets of 20.

Me vs me today. Put in a hard week of woodcutting, gym, and running with the doggo. Need to gut out this 1 hour kettlebell session🙏🤘
I try to have fun with a lot of my training but when it’s time to buckle down and embrace the suck I do that too. I hate overhead squats but I’m determined to get better at them.🙏💯
For me the hardest part about doing Bulgarians is figuring out the right distance for the lead foot. My trainer friend likes to stretch his lead leg all the way out. I can’t balance like that. Trying the sitdown method. It works okay.🤘💯
