march 28th, at the goose is out folk club held at the ivy house in nunhead, London. go, but also, buy tickets in advance. so it doesn't get called off. so nobody has to eat a loss. so that there is shared community pub and music support. get on it. stay on it.
On 28 March, Damien Barber and Mike Wilson (pictured) are playing @ivyhousenunhead, London’s first community owned pub (full disclosure: I am a shareholder). The gig is run by @TheGooseIsOut , the lovely people who run the folk club in said pub on the second Sunday of the month.

if I'm not mistaken, my township had magnet schools and buses (mid seventies). but just about everybody got bussed? and bus routes were routes, not areas. some crazy paths. and all that stayed important even during gas shortage and budget problems and stuff. changed priorities.
These kids dropped an absolute banger AND smoked the Louisville public school system for their failure to provide adequate bus service to Black students
