I see hardly anyone understands what PCCs do still. That's a huge failing of the @AssocPCCs. I see a lot of negative comments, some warranted, but I dont see anyone asking what will happen to the Commissioning function. The most important yet most ignored function.

Looking forward to watching Punch on Broadway today. Theatre has a unique power to spark conversations about violence, consequence, and healing—themes that sit at the heart of restorative justice and my work every day for the @RJCouncil

Thank you to those who have shown concern. We finally were able to have a funeral (of sorts) for Dad yesterday. Mum was finally able to get some closure after 7 months & 1 day. We did him proud with a wonderful celebration of his life after the ceremony. I love him. Always will.

Too many victims feel forced to walk away from justice. New @LDNVictimsComm shows why: the system is convoluted and draining. It also shows what works: if we want victims to stay engaged, we must invest in the services that support them. My statement:

Today I publish the London Victim Attrition Review — a landmark study exposing why so many victims disengage from the justice system. The findings are stark: the system is failing victims. We cannot accept this status quo. Victims deserve better. https://t.co/FAw4hlx41v

While I'm here, may as well acknowledge The Police Foundation is f***ed too. I saw all the congratulatory messages, especially on LinkedIn. Seriously?! Short memories, people. Very. Short. Memories.

@PoliceChiefs To the good @PoliceChiefs across this Country - PLEASE do not let this happen. Make those egotistical people fix their own Forces & not steal from you and your Communities. Be Political. Save our local Police Forces.

Ive said this before and I will keep saying it. Those @PoliceChiefs who remember why they joined and what they're trying to do MUST challenge this powerful group within your numbers. They will destroy Policing just so they can retire on a high. No care for what comes next....

Why? Because we have, for far too long, brought on new Chief Officers in the image of the last. We have a watered down version after generations of promotional inbreeding leading to self interest & ego being high on the performance tick list....

Mr Rowley's own Force is all the evidence needed to prove that the bigger a Police Force, the worse the Public AND the Officers find it. If you want more evidence Police Scotland did that work for you already, too. Yet still the lie is brimg sold...

What the cabal of big city Force Chiefs wants to do, is to eat up the smaller, quieter Forces and use their resources to bolster their poorly functioning bigger Forces. They sell this with the lie that bigger is better, cheaper, more efficient....

There is no more £ coming his way. How frustrating. But wait...there are quite a few Forces out there that no one thinks about, hears much about or get much flak. That Mr Rowley, is because they're small enough to still work with the Public they Police. They do more with less...

It is an impossible task to fix the Met without much, much more £. Even then, it'll be difficult but the £ will make it shiny for a while, allowing Mr R to step away as a great success, thr man who fixed it all. His problems are mirrored in other large urban Forces....

I have in the recent past tweeted about a cabal of Chief Officers who seek to protect themselves at the cost of their colleagues, their staff and most importantly the Public. Mr Rowley has broken as the public face of this group. Why? Well, its not difficult to deduce....

If I'm in this space atm, its for good reason & Sir Mark Rowley gives me good reason. Not being a Times subscriber I haven't read the full article but I know what his aims are and I know why. This is really, really important and should not be ignored. Especially by @PoliceChiefs

After months of listening, writing (and plenty of coffee ☕), the State of the Restorative Sector 2025 report is live. It’s more than a report—it’s a snapshot of where we are and what we’re up against. Download: https://t.co/EXDDv1Yv39 Thanks to everyone who shared their truth.
