Sometimes, when a bit low, I watch this film to hear the voice of Richard Waddingham & it keeps me going. Richard sadly died in Nov. 2020. The kindest & cleverest of people. Thankyou wonderful Richard. "Sunlight & Oxygen = Life". Please think on his words https://t.co/9C9VppEbya

A large endangered European #eel "silvered" & dead on the beach. It would have been heading to the Sargasso Sea to spawn. Not sure what went wrong. Weybourne, Norfolk, eastern England.

For me, the government reforms of Agricultural Property Relief (APR) miss two big opportunities 1. The political opportunity Labour had coming in to win over more farmers & ‘deep rural’ voters 2. The policy opportunity to use APR more imaginatively A 🧵 on what I mean…

My mother, Dr. Shyamala Gopalan Harris, came to the United States from India at 19. She taught me and my sister, Maya, about courage and determination. It is thanks to her that I am ready to lead us forward.

The UK’s carbon capture plans will cause emissions to soar past targets. This is a fossil fuel industry scam of epic proportions. Why? My thread on a letter from leading scientists to @Ed_Miliband 👇 And a concise briefing for your MP: https://t.co/NADoaDzc9B

Letter from leading scientists calling for the Gov to halt & re-assess carbon capture plans. We know the previous Gov was captured by Big Oil. Labour now really needs to listen to these experts. https://t.co/2duRP7nY1d Key points 🧵 @campaigncc @Andrew9Boswell @KevinClimate

Fat Duckweed (Lemna gibba) switched from a fat form in August to a flat winter form by November. Seen today at Hilfield Reservoir. This is the only place in Herts I've seen the fat form. Everywhere else in Herts appears to heave the flat form throughout the year!
