Thrilled @EquisResearch was able to play even a tiny role in getting this valuable survey done.
🚨 🚨 A new NYC mayor general election poll from @ZenithPolls (me) & Public Progress (@amitsinghbagga) — the most comprehensive poll of the race — finds Mamdani with a commanding 28-point lead in a five-way race, and getting >50% head-to-head vs Cuomo. Let’s dive in, shall we? 🧵

A supremely valuable article. We are relying on it a ton in our own analysis of 2024. So glad to see it published.
Out now: my article (w/ @blfraga and Colin Fisk) @JournalREP on trends in Latino party ID over the last 3 decades. We find relative stability through the Obama years but declining Democratic and accelerating Independent ID during the Trump years (link in next reply).

New Equis polling out today on Latinos, Trump & immigration.
.@carlosodio told me the findings represent “cracks” but not a “collapse” in Trump’s Latino support. Still, little doubt deportations chaos is hurting impressions of his presidency:. “The economy is the lead actor, but immigration is playing an important supporting role.”.

Grateful to @carlosodio of @EquisResearch for an outstanding guest lecture in our @UCBerkeley Latino/a/e/x Politics course this morning. Students benefited immensely from his data-driven insights on partisan shifts and mixed methods approach to understanding Latino voter behavior

A Latino story out of the WI supreme court race!.
In WI special, Crawford outperformed Harris more in majority Hispanic precincts than elsewhere in MKE. But turnout in those areas was also lower. Another sign that Trump’s strength seems to lie with Latinos who don’t who up in these kinds of elections?
