People can call dubs cringe as much as they want, but it’s hard work to put one together. It’s as hard, if not sometimes harder, then the many genres of voice acting. Matching and building on an original performance can flip between being super easy or difficult as all hell.

Reminding you that HOPPERS is excellent. The first great animated film of the year. Here’s my LA Times review, which made it to print today: https://t.co/eMeHggfcBj

You inept twits have objectively ruined the argument with this one image, and only gas up US-made family films. Also, you pathetic lot will 100% ignore the actual world of animation outside of Ghibli, resulting in no one respecting animation. This image officially sucks.

Animation "fans" need to stop treating animation studios like they are mascots and game consoles (which was already a dumb thing) and focus on how places like Pixar have a really toxic workplace environment that stomps on creativity. There are bigger issues at hand. Focus!

So, animation "fans" are mad for some asinine reason that Tom Kenny was in the recent Helluva Boss Short? Do these losers have any real life or actual worries, or are they just that inept and dimwitted to find time in their pathetic lives to be mad at this nothing burger topic?

THANK YOU for loving #Hoppers this weekend! 💞 To celebrate, here's a 2D animation test we did back in 2020 for inspiration (by Lorenzo Fresta) 🦫🦫

We need a major celebrity to say something mildly dismissive about film criticism and entertainment journalism so that maybe people start caring about it and it doesn’t vanish as quickly as it is.

This makes me Hulk out… (hot takes in replies… reposts appreciated)
Some Oscar voters have reportedly chosen to skip voting in the Best Animated Feature category this year, according to anonymous voters. “When my kids were little I used to be much more up to speed on this category, but now I’m not, so I’m sitting it out.”

GO SEE THIS FILM IT DESERVES THE WORLD
‘HOPPERS’ has earned $13.2M in the film's domestic opening day. The biggest opening day for any original animated film in years. Read our review: https://t.co/ECR6tHN6NA

I need everyone to use the hate they have for Jessie Buckley and Timothee Chalamet and channel it towards this anti-art gremlin. "Stewart retreated into low-budget dramas and mostly irrelevant indie movies for the rest of the decade". Will Jordan is such a disease.

Remember when the Turning Red embargo dropped and that one journalist, an older white male, said something along the lines of "This wasn't for me, I couldn’t relate because I'm not a young girl or Asian." That was the nexus point for this kind of sentiment.
Pixar CCO Pete Docter is looking for their new films to re-embrace universally relatable concepts like talking toys and monsters in the closet. “As time’s gone on, I realized my job is to make sure the films appeal to everybody.” (Source: https://t.co/UizCFW75A0)

Obsessed with the world deciding the guy whose mom, sister and grandma were in the NY Ballet and also who made the musical reboot film Wonka a critical and commercial success hates the fine arts lol let’s be serious for one second!!

Embarrassing to give this any attention but he’s clearly making the point that he doesn’t want cinema to dwindle in the larger culture the way opera or ballet have, a correct thing to point out + worry about, if a little graceless. I’m whatever oh this guy but come on folks

Here’s my take: the Oscar villain isn’t Hamnet, it isn’t Train Dreams, it isn’t F1, and it isn’t any of the nominated movies. The real Oscar villain this year? Unfortunately, it’s Film Twitter, running smear campaigns against any frontrunner performance or movie

I forget how much Erick Webber sucks and then someone brings up his misogyny and idiocy and then I remember why I’m glad I have that fucking loser blocked. What a shitty grifting dipshit of a “critic”.

One of the sad things about watching press from influencers is an actor will give a response referencing some older media and the influencer just has so little context they can’t meaningfully engage with the answer. I see why actors are exhausted by this. Theyre talking to a wall

It took six years to make WE BARE BEARS. It took six years to make HOPPERS. Creating these things consumed a lot of my life. But i love doing it. I love animation. And I love saying things to the world through these (cute) characters. Disney/Pixar's #hoppers, now in theaters!
