Becoming a heart surgeon was hard. I do so as I reflect on how drastically my environment has changed around me. Growing up as a little boy in Cameroon, it was daring just to dream I'd find myself in a position to simply be alive at this stage, let alone seek to accomplish more.

Great session with @STS_CTsurgery . 1. Aortic Insufficiency (AI) is under-diagnosed, and true prevalence is lacking. 2. Even when diagnosed, AI is an under treated entity. 3. Exciting developments. @JenaValve , #Ross, & Aortic Valve repair modifications.
