@JPFasone1 @toby_nagel01 @RA_Parker And Bat Speed without direction is chaos. Direction without bat speed is a map. Like literally a piece of paper with land, water, and a compass in the corner.

Sources tell @YahooSports that the Nationals are hiring Andrew Aydt to be an assistant hitting coach on the MLB staff. Aydt, in his late 20s, is the co-manager of Driveline’s hitting dept. Played D2 ball at McKendree University from 2017-2019. Nats youth movement continues.

Mahomes with an all-time deke on a hard count. Awesome that the mics picked that up.

I last coached at Millard North in the summer of 2020. We had a few guys sniffing 90. Hardest we saw from an opponent was 92 (Trey Frahm earholed somebody). 5 years later, same school, SITTING 95. Those daggum weighted balls and technology really were ruining things, huh?
‘26 Colin Driffill (NE) came out of the ‘pen throwing GAS; sitting 95-96 T97 w/ tons of running life thru the zone. Spinning a tight two-plane breaker w/ teeth & spin ~2700 rpm. @KStateBSB commit. #WWBAWorlds @PGMidwestBB

Just spoke with Emmett Johnson postgame, he shared with me Troy Dannen and Coach Rhule put Kenneth Williams on scholarship just now in the locker room following the win at Maryland.

Look who just came pouring back out of the locker room. Chills type of moment here in Maryland for this group.

This is a wild number. The Mariners pitchers have thrown just 36 fastballs (4 seam and sinker) out of 148 pitches so far.

Trace McDonald (‘27, AZ) crushed this for a no-doubt HR in the championship. Damage intent to each hack where he gets to legit strength at impact. #FallNatChamp @PG_Uncommitted
Trace McDonald (‘27, AZ) crushes a triple into deep center field. Picks up an RBI with this swing. Good barrel control through the zone. #FallNatChamp

I’ve been on this earth for 33 years. For 33 years I have thought that a game ending in a tie is stupid. Somewhere in there I thought “surely someone will change that rule.” Silly me. Here we are, in the year of our lord, 2025, with a tie in the NFL still a thing.

Never give up. No matter what happens here, the personal pride each of the American players has displayed in singles is a great lesson for me, a reminder to dig in no matter how bleak it may appear. Inspiring.
