@c_kent02 It’s interesting when people make it sound every Nigerian needs to be Socrates for the country to work. I don’t share that view. I’m of the opinion nations are built on the intelligence, doggedness, brilliance, vision, foresight and ability of a few men. Nigerians are not more.

You v put into words my exact feelings of what happened in Superman. It feels like Gunn is projecting himself and his belief system on the characters and franchise. Spot on.
@c_kent02 I want to see Guy being an edgy prick, too, but Gunn takes that to the nth degree as well. About 75% of the heroes put on the screen are portrayed as hardcore sociopaths, dullards, casual murderers, it's like a con job low-key Mad Magazine takedown of the whole franchise.

@TheCriticalDri2 I don't think Gunn has it in him to write a heroic character that doesn't act like an ethically stunted child. I don't know if he can write someone that thinks things through, from an ethical standpoint, and I don't know if it's because he doesn't himself.

Brotherly. That was the first Synder I saw. Mind blowing. It took me about three or four re-watch times to fully understand the movie for its nuances and brilliance. An excellent piece of art. Synder introduced the art of adapting superhero stories to the actual human experience.
