Corona hasn’t killed any Ugandan yet, and we shouldn’t take that for granted; however other conditions have; reports of police brutality earlier months, hunger, mental health, homicides, gander-based violence our economy is collapsing while some are gifted with billions.

Global citizens Uganda is back to the horrors of the 70s & 80s.
As it has been in the past few years the kidnappings by security operatives in the Museveni state is still happening. They don’t care to hide it anymore!
This is a state that is mandated to protect its own people!
UPDATE: Following his arrest by soldiers the other day, comrade Magala Umar was yesterday afternoon taken to his home in Kawempe and a search 'conducted' of the house after putting his wife and children under immense intimidation.

Sad! Second “business” man trying to get away from paying back a foreign acquired loan. This is very bad for a healthy growing business environment and economy. Imagine genuine businesses that need these loans? I doubt they will get them!
@PoliceUg
NUP is a political party operating in a multiparty state, this is a violation of the constitution, rights to assemble, organize & political freedoms! This post violates the Ugandan law! But again how many laws has this institution broken? How can it be okay to post this online?
Went to “Bobi Wine: The People's President” last night in London and was blown away. One of the best human rights movies I’ve ever seen. The struggle of the Ugandans against their dictator are a carbon copy of the struggles of the opposition in Russia

It is sad for Mr M7 to mock poor Ugandans struggling to survive calling them lazy well aware of the heavy taxation, the high cost of capital, high cost of production & starting up a business in Uganda.
Uganda needs a honest president much more than handouts like Emyooga & PDM.

Very interesting how the world is marveled by the universe and it’s size; it’s just the beginning. I believe some of these discoveries are secrets God has kept to himself. However the more humanity search out there, the clearer it is how little we know. God above all. 🙏

Respect of the law, respect for human rights and dignity. Functional state institutions. Freedom of speech and association.
By having honest, democratic real elections - RESPECT THE VOICE OF THE PEOPLE!!!
Surprisingly we have all this in our current constitution!
There is a longing for a wave of liberations over Africa and a reemergence of a new generation of pro-people movements and breed of leaders all over the African continent.
Honored to have done some cinematography on this doc in Uganda. Congratulations to director Shameela Seedat and the whole team that has brought this project to fruition. Big thanks to Doc NYC for selecting this beautiful documentary. I’m rooting for you Shameela.

The country needs healing, a truth & reconciliation process of about 5years to deal with the Musevenism. The people need to be united and get the sense of country, state and nationalism. The evils of tribalism, corruption, institutional collapse will take a while to deal with.
@AJEnglish
Karamoja is actually one of Uganda’s richest regions. It’s mineral resources have been exploited for longer than a decade, yet it’s people continue to languish in poverty and despicable hunger. Karamoja is the only region in the country that has a ministry to it’s self!?
Becky’s 5 boys have lost a mother who was their sole provider.
Mr President, in a speech recently you thanked nurses for the tireless work they do on the frontline.
She was hard working, committed and believed in this country!
@SpireJim
Also it may have been used to change the narrative and guide public discourse.
We are slowly forgetting about the economic situation, karamoja, the billions being stolen, the Roko bill was also passed in the same times. Sad that the public quickly moves on!
@ssebushaf
@SpireJim
And how many brutal elections have we had in Uganda?
What you forget is in Uganda the state descend upon its citizens unleashing violence, death and creating a mood of fear! It’s worse here! You are forgetting that the NRM regime has never organized a free election! Never!
@SamsonKasumba
“They are so intolerant that they kidnap & torture themselves when they critic public officials, they recently came up with a gag law against themselves!”
Where will you stop! Please do not celebrate or be seen to celebrate when our country is going to the dogs!

Torture has been normalized by the Ugandan state! This is wrong and should be condemned! No individual should be treated this way by another! Yet we see this everyday and even worse. Some perpetrators are in places of Power like a deputy in one of the arms of government!
@KOmukungu
@MKSerumaga
Starts from the top. Ugandans know, and stopped voting them years ago, now they impose their rule by rigging including university elections. No sane Ugandan would still vote NRM!
@GodberTumushabe
So sad that the clergy can been seen to associate with a group of people who have deprived the common man of their rights! The same people who have sanctioned violence, torture and deprived Ugandans of their rights! Ugandans! We should wake up to the realities that face us today!
The state in Uganda is under the fear of its own people that it has unleashed the army onto them. They are unarmed but of the same misery that the army officers have on their faces, hard economic times that are the talk at most dinner tables including in the army-men’s homes.
@PaulaMoura_san
Thank you Paula. It’s an absolute honor and privilege for me to have been present, and part of the team that has brought this project to life. Thank you 🙏🏽
@qataharraymond
I thought every 5years we have elections organized by the “Independent Electoral Commission” for this very purpose!
How can 1 man, by himself pull off a regime change?
We wait to experience that!
Why are African leaders silent about the recent events in America? Now is the time for Africa to demand for respect, dignity and equality on a global scale. Now is the time to set laws that compelle foreign countries against racism.
