Wait people actually think the movie is about missing out on your true love??? After John Magaro tried to learn a whole language so he can understand his wife’s dreams??????
Recent Past Lives discourse is annoying to me. I don’t think Celine Song made a film about missing out on your true love. It’s more-so about reflecting on the person you once were as the person you are now. Not so much a love story as it is a constant string of what ifs.
my favorite part of this was Paul realizing it was his mother in his vision 💀 like Paul I could have told you that, I can recognize those legs anywhere
In the span of a couple of minutes Rebecca Ferguson manages to take this discussion from her being Swedish to her and Colbert being naked (?) to pitching herself for co-host for Late Night (??)
Remember how people were like “ask Ted Lasso about his politics” as if Ted didn’t make fun of Westboro, say he was at a Planned Parenthood fundraiser, and support his Nigerian player protesting
This is it for me. White actors will always have another chance. Not necessarily the case with non-white actors, even just to have a shot at another nomination.
The most depressing thing about Gladstone losing out is that it's entirely unclear if Hollywood will ever meet her at her level and give her the material for another shot.
Ben Stiller has taken on his first lead film role in six years in 'Nutcrackers', a new title from David Gordon Green that’s currently in production in Ohio
The entire premise of this miniseries is Max Irons throws England into absolute chaos bc he wants to fuck Rebecca Ferguson and I think that’s beautiful and I accept it as my true British history
I love that Rebecca Ferguson is getting the appreciation she deserves for Dune but let's not forget about her absolutely devouring as Elizabeth Woodville in The White Queen.
A beautiful movie about mourning paths not taken, mourning past versions of yourself…..all for people to think this is a movie about missing out on your true love?????????
Rebecca Ferguson’s revelation about being screamed at by a former costar didn’t just take the Internet by storm — it apparently rattled her contact list as well.

Apple is probably only second to HBO in the highest number of best shows on TV and their marketing dept does such a piss poor job at promoting them like hire me I promise I can do better than….whoever is in charge right now
Need everyone to know that Rebecca Ferguson refers to herself as “mother” several times in the new Josh Smith podcast episode (and not in the biological sense)
the thing about film twitter not knowing Dan Stevens from Downton Abbey is that they don’t have vivid recollections of the night he had a twitter meltdown and fought with a bunch of online girls and changed his twitter profile picture to a canine in a tux
thankful every single day for denis villeneuve doing whatever he could to convince rebecca ferguson to take the role as lady jessica after turning it down at first. i cannot picture anyone else embodying this role the way she does.
Katherine Hepburn used to be Stephen Sondheim’s neighbour.
They did not get on.
She objected to his piano playing and would sometimes crawl over the garden wall to bang on his window, reputedly inspiring the line from Into the Woods, “It’s the witch from next door.”
The way he broke his ankle by smashing it into a building, bending it in a way that no human ankle should only to haul himself up and hobble out of frame to save the shot is why he's The President Of Movies.

I went to two funerals this week. Rattling in my head is Ted Lasso saying “life, it’s hard. It’s real hard.” Let’s be kind to one another. Bc goddamn we never never have enough time here.
“I haven't worked in 2 years, every role I was being offered was the sad mom. To be honest, that's been hard for me...because I need to feed myself. The hardest thing is being a mom and...not feeling like, I have nothing for myself.” — Kirsten Dunst for
