The main issue is the Grants programs run as Grants instead of contracts. should a Grant become a contract tied to onchain metrics?
DAOs are gaming L2 airdrops
Of the 9M $OP granted to
@perpprotocol
:
- 500k was dumped by Perp's Grants DAO
- 70% of 1.8M $OP airdrop was sent to team wallets
- 70% of those addresses insta-dumped $OP
If left unchecked, DAOs will do this in future $OP airdrops too
