✨ 5 0 , 0 0 0 ✨ Milestone reached, achievement unlocked! This week we had our 50,000th child through a Brownlee Foundation finish line since the Brownlee Foundation began in 2014. Such a proud moment for everyone involved!

The second being that @AliBrownleetri has been awarded an OBE for his services to triathlon and to charity 👏 What a week! A huge thank you to everyone who has played a part in helping the above happen!

Two BIG achievements to celebrate at the Brownlee Foundation last week! The first being that since the start of the Foundation, there has now been over 75,000 children take part in one of our events 🤯

Very excited to bring a Triathlon back to Leeds. Super-sprint and Sprint distances mean everyone can have a go. Do it for fun, with friends, to raise money for charity. All profits from the event go to the @brownleefdn to give young people more opportunities to do sport.

It’s National Volunteering Week! We wouldn’t be able to run our events without a large number of wonderful volunteers coming along so a huge thank you to those who have helped out at one of our events.

The events may look slightly different today than they did back then but the fundamental aim of creating an inclusive opportunity for children to have a fun, positive experience of sport and physical activity hasn’t changed.

10 years on after the very first Brownlee Foundation event, we were back at John Charles Centre for Sport yesterday!

Our fourth event of the week took place in Hull 🏊🚴🏃 Thank you to @Hymers_College for hosting and to all the schools for bringing along their children! @Pho3nix_Fdn

We had another brilliant, if not a little soggy, event yesterday at @yorksport1 at @UniOfYork ☔️ It didn’t, however, dampen the spirits of all the children taking part. So great to still see lots of smiling faces! 😄 @Pho3nix_Fdn

It’s that time of the year again! Enjoyed going back to my old school yesterday @BradfordGrammar where over 1000 local children participated in a @brownleefdn Triathlon. It’s a joy to see the foundation grow every year and see even more young people experience the sport.

Today was full of laughter and achievement as our Clock House pupils gave their all in the @brownleefdn mini triathlon. 🏊🚴‍♂️🏃‍♀️ A huge thank you to The Brownlee Foundation - founded by Old Bradfordians, Alistair Brownlee and Jonny Brownlee - for this amazing event. @BGS_OBs
