@NatLeadAHPCYP @rcsltscot @RCOT_CYPF @scotgovCYPIC @cmcdlot @RCSLT @Alison_Morton2 When you truly collaborate things happen. You question why it took you so long. You transfer this learning into every interaction thereafter. You want to get everyone on board to see the value and greatness of this. You don’t want to go back into your silo #collaboration

Until policy is designed around children as people rather than as things to store in childcare, or to fill up with facts, or future production units to be skilled up, we won’t get real improvements to their lives or outcomes; & will continue to spend ££££ on preventable problems

Feeling a bit deflated. There is such a Baby Blindspot in all the manifestos. Little or nothing about life for children at home, before and around childcare and education. Little or nothing about services that support parents and families to improve child development.

Our services have taken almost 5000 calls already this morning, which means our staff are very busy trying to help as many people as they can. This thread has lots of advice on how you can get the care you need quickly and often using our online resources which can save you time.

1/ By using NHS resources wisely, we can keep well and get the care we need quickly, safely and as close to home as possible. Save this thread and keep it handy. You can use it in future if you are unsure where to access the right care in the right place. #RightCareRightPlace 🧵
