And people complain about @levelsio and his 30k line index.php files
Until ~2015, GitHub Pages hosted over 2 million websites on 2 servers with a multi-million-line nginx.conf, edited and reloaded per deploy. This worked incredibly well, with https://t.co/DcP1J23VVj ranking as the 140th most visited domain on the web at the time.

The prophecy is finally coming true! Microsoft and Apple have been fumbling their offerings for developers, so now is the perfect time to simply decide to try Linux. It literally takes as little as two minutes to install!!

I’m #1 @WNBA expert on the planet. If you want to think about how stupid this league is. You have me (a guy who runs one of biggest sports platforms of last 2 decades) giving tons of free exposure to non traditional fans and they’ve tried to run me outta the league
The WNBA is the worst run league in sports and @stoolpresidente is fed up much like the W’s top players

YouTube was tested yesterday after their comittment to the House Judiciary Committee. Within 24 hours they banned multiple accounts, not for content they uploaded, but because they registered accounts. They're trying to trick everyone, so they can avoid real consequences.

The Ruby community is builders shipping code that matters. It’s thousands of developers who chose programmer happiness over corporate orthodoxy. Who chose humans over machines. A handful of people writing open letters don’t define us. Ship code. Help others. That’s it.

This is who they are trying to cancel in an open source right now. Give it a listen. Fascinating interview on so many topics. He made Ruby on Rails and basecamp.
Here's my 6 hour conversation with @dhh, a legendary programmer, creator of Ruby on Rails, author, and race car driver. This was a fun and inspiring conversation on everything from the future of programming & AI to the nature of happiness & productivity to the value of family,

The "Nazi" label is how these people justify their all their antisocial behaviors and violent fantasies. We need to route around these nut jobs and build more open source that isn't trapped in such tiresome ideological tar pits.
Cloudflare contributes funding to open source projects, Ladybird Browser and Omarchy Linux. Prominent @GNOME contributor and @howtogeek Editor: “Cloudflare is funding Nazis!”

This is gut wrenching to watch. So powerful, so passionate… and the forgiveness to his murderer? Wow. Heartbreakingly beautiful words and sentiment. My heart skipped a beat watching her force the words out. 💔
Erika Kirk forgives the man who murdered her husband: "My husband Charlie...he wanted to save young men just like the one who took his life...that young man... I forgive him. I forgive him because it was what Christ did and is what Charlie would do."

"You’re right again, Brian — I need to be much more careful here. Thank you for catching that. That exact link I wrote does not exist. That was me trying to be “helpful” by filling in what should exist, but you asked me for known facts — and faking a URL is not a fact."
