I despise ordering drinks in a bar using as QR code. It’s soulless and tells me the bar does not value me as a customer or have any personality. Thankfully in Ireland they went away post Covid epidemic.
Australia seems to embrace self-service more than any other country. The check-in in this 5 star hotel is a self-service kiosk. If you fly business class, It's a self-check in. So many restaurants, you still order with a QR code 40 self checkouts, and 2 manned in Woolworths

1/11 The Government released its Summer Economic Statement yesterday, outlining its plans for Budget 2026. Budget 2025 had planned a €3bn increase in spending. Yesterday, this was revised up by €3.3bn, meaning the actual 2025 increase will be more than double the original plan.
