Another useless investigation. FSD is still, as of today, Level 2 driving assistance that requires your full undivided attention. If you choose to not pay attention and allow it to make a mistake it is your fault for misusing FSD, not the cars fault.

Behold…an affordable EV. You can finance this for $400ish/mo with a small down payment. Sadly, the Model 3 and Y “standard” are still unaffordable to most. When you compare this to a Model Y and your payment is going to be $300 more per month to have the Y, the only truly

If you are under contract to buy a house and are utilizing a government backed/guaranteed mortgage such as FHA or USDA, your loan will not close until the government reopens. This is an unfortunate side effect of the government shutdown. If the shutdown goes on long enough this

The fact that the government shutdown hasn’t affected my life at all says a lot about how useless the government really is. Agree?

The new Model 3 and Y Standard cannot be the new “affordable” models that were supposed to be released in the first half of the year, right? The Model 3 Standard is $671/mo and the Model Y Standard is $728/mo. This is only affordable to someone making $100,000/year.

In my opinion, Elon probably isn’t a fan of the “standard” models or their pricing. I’ve noticed he’s been relatively quiet about their release just as he was when the stripped down RWD Cybertruck was released and then quickly discontinued. I really think if there was a $10,000

My 24 hour review of FSD v14.1- It’s really that good. The addition of parking garages and arrival settings is HUGE. A way bigger deal than many realize and makes using FSD that much cooler. Now all your driving can be done on FSD from end to end. I’ve been driving and filming

I stand further corrected. The Model 3 has power adjusting mirrors, the Model Y has MANUAL mirrors.

Good lord even the king of Tesla optimism isn't impressed. This literally shocked me to my core to read.
@briandstone__ $8k would be an excellent gap. $5k is good but maybe not entirely enough

I stand corrected, apparently it does have power adjusting mirrors. So my only complaint is now price. Make there be a $10,000 gap between Standard and Premium and we have a compelling product.

I think the Model 3/Y Standard SHOULD exist. The spec is neat (other than lack of power adjusting mirrors). The price is totally wrong - there should be at least a $10,000 gap between the "standard" and "premium" model to make it worth choosing standard and losing so many

IMO, a $40k car and a $45k car appeal to the same buyers as it is the same price range. If I was offered the choice of a stripped Model Y for $40k or a much better equipped Model Y for $5k more ($70/mo over the life of an average car loan) I’d take the better optioned, longer

FSD 14.1, the first in the v14 series, has officially started rolling out to customers! Many follow up releases, with significant improvements, are in the works. These should ship through the rest of this year. Enjoy, and looking forward to your feedback!

First FSD v14 highway drive done! This took me from Westwood to Santa Monica via the 405 and 10 freeways. Hurry mode was dope, super quick and smooth- perfect speed control. Car parked perfectly at the supercharger with zero interventions from my driveway to charging spot.

Perfect parking at the supercharger by FSD v14.1. Car knows when you navigate there it’s a charger, so it selects it in the UI.

10 drives in with FSD v14.1 and here are all my thoughts. First of all- wow. Zero disengagements or interventions thus far. The confidence and overall human like driving is next level. The steering inputs are so smooth, braking inputs are earlier and more linear than before.
