🚨New Journal Impact Factors🚨 ERJ is 4th in the respiratory system category, with aJIF of 16.6. The JIF of ERJ Open Research is now 4.3. European Respiratory Review’s JIF has seen an increase to 9.0, and Breathe has also increased to 2.3.

So, ICS reduction down to a daily low dose seems v feasible, but less ICs than that could be iffy in the longer term.

Short answer is that it seems you can, but up to a point. >60% were able to wean their Symbicort all the way down to being used only as needed symptomatically, without loss of symptom control or a return of exacerbations
