It’s less the algorithm and more the ultra processed social interactions. We need more social fiber in our diet.
FWIW I don't blame social media or algorithms for society's ills. We're constantly adjusting to a new technology. Social media didn't even moral panic. I think many are lonely, afraid and seek comfort in nihilism. The truly broken take action for their own reasons.

I've notice a lot of millennials entering their luddite phase. Of course they won't see it that way.
