You can tell someone is frustrated when they throw loop you in Street Fighter 6. There's no more shame in the busted mechanic.

It’s less the algorithm and more the ultra processed social interactions. We need more social fiber in our diet.

FWIW I don't blame social media or algorithms for society's ills. We're constantly adjusting to a new technology. Social media didn't even moral panic. I think many are lonely, afraid and seek comfort in nihilism. The truly broken take action for their own reasons.

Ah yes, the 2002 Dreamcast version. We would play with people from Japan over dial up. A new world. but then Japanese people would be more likely to steal your stuff if you dropped dead in a shared room. So I stopped doing that.

I've never liked how combos creeped into fighting games. They're as boring to me in the 90s as they are now. It's for normies to gawk and pump quarters.

When I see all these senators trying to lecture and "gotcha" Bobby Kennedy today all I can think is: You all support off-label, untested, and irreversible hormonal "therapies" for children, mutilating our kids and enriching big pharma. You're full of shit and everyone knows it.

Gen Alpha won’t even bother washing their PJs. It will be seen as too oppressive.

Not blaming Gen Z because it was a natural progression after normalizing wearing gym clothes and before that work clothes (blue jeans) in casual settings. But where do we go after PJs as daily attire? What’s next?

Can’t wait for Generation Alpha to post their pre AI version of this. How “perfect and old school” it all was in 2020.

A lot of tech today feels very cool but also profoundly unnecessary. Are we still solving problems or are we just looking for the next big thing?

Some are saying Christopher Nolan but he was also a part of a movement. Let’s not forget Blade, The Matrix and X-Men era. Even Star Trek (Enterprise) switched to dark mode.
