Naval Statecraft and the Navy Needed. The nation needs a strong maritime industry to convey trade, which today relies >99% on others’ ships. At the same time a strong navy is required to ensure those ships can come to our ports, defend Americans and secure our national interests.

Trump is right, the UN’s “Net-Zero Framework” sounds innocuous but in reality it proposed a massively ballooning tariff on 90% of world trade and would have forced the vast majority of the 50,000 ships globally into the arms of Chinese shipyards for “green upgrades”
